Why, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance! Thank you for clicking by my online portfolio. Let me take a minute to tell you about myself. I am a graphic and web designer with a background in front-end web development. I have an Associates Degree in graphic and web design which compliments my other Associates Degree in Business Administration. But let's not just focus on my stellar educational background. My professional experience isn't too shabby either. My background in administration satisfies the following: Am I organized? Can I prioritize my work? And, can I juggle (also referred to as multi-tasking)? And the answer to each of those questions is YES! Dare I say I also work well with others? Okay, fine. You got me! But now you may be wondering if I can work on my own. Well, let's check that box too!
I have a proven record of being an over-achiever, but not in that annoying want-to-throat-punch-you kind of way. Failure is simply not an option. Doesn't that sound fantastic? I think so.

Huh? Didn't you just read the previous section?
All kidding aside, my light approach to this About page is by no means an indicator that I lack professionalism or that I am flippant about my work. I welcome an opportunity to prove my worth.
In the beginning…okay, I won't go that far…but since I can remember, I have loved graphic design. It didn't matter what it was, if it was being used to promote, it had me at hello. The eye-catching billboard, the creative packaging, that perfect font, that color palette, that innovative website, even the bad designs – it all made me stop and take notice. When the stars aligned for me to go back to school, I jumped at the chance. It may have taken a while to find the road I was meant to travel, but I'm glad I found the exit.
There's a saying about choosing a job you love and you'll never have to work another day – I couldn't have said it any better. When I sit down to work on a project, I don't feel like I'm working at all.
